Tech Jam on Tour – Truro
Based on the Raspberry Pi Jam but with added other technologies, the Tech Jam is here to encourage youngsters to learn how to code. Tech Jam provides all the equipment, though you are welcome to bring your own. There are Raspberry Pi computers, Picos, Arduino and BBC Microbits, plus other pieces of technology to build engaging electronic equipment.
Tech Jam is a fun, interactive experience designed to spark creativity and curiosity in children aged 7 and up. Perfect for beginners and budding tech enthusiasts alike, each session offers a welcoming, hands-on environment for kids to explore the exciting world of technology. And for the Festival of Tech, we’re bringing it on the road!
Coding Challenges: Learn to write code, solve puzzles, and create games.
Electronics Fun: Build circuits and explore how technology works.
Guided Learning: Friendly volunteers from Cornwall’s tech community provide expert advice and encouragement.
Creative Projects: Kids can work on their own tech creations, gaining valuable problem-solving and teamwork skills.
No matter your child’s experience level, the Cornwall Tech Jam promises a day of discovery, learning, and fun. Spaces are limited, so book your spot today!
