Agile Awesomeness for Charities and Social Enterprises

Agile-awesomeness-for-charities

An energy-filled workshop as part of Tech Cornwall’s Festival of Tech, designed to bring some Agile Awesomeness to charities and SEs.

Book Tuesday 25th February

Book Wednesday 26th February

Do you work for a brilliant Cornwall-based charity or social enterprise and are you looking to work smarter, not harder in 2025? Agile is a project management methodology that originated from the software industry.

Software developers were fed up with spending months and months on a project, only to find that the requirements changed, it ran over budget and over time and it was now no longer fit for purpose. Sound familiar?

Agile is about chunking down your workflow, delivering value quickly and frequently. Ultimately, it’s about how you work with people and respond to change, prioritising making brilliant things happen over complex Gantt charts and paperwork. We think it would be a brilliant fit for the charity sector.

This workshop will introduce you to the principles of Agile Awesomeness with some unique tools designed by the Agile Communications Agency. Expect colourful post-it notes, fresh thinking and positive hacks to support your communication, personal productivity and workflow.

This workshop will cover:

•              What does it mean to be a high performing, Agile team?

•              Nudge the Needle – identifying value and how to nail productivity in a busy world

•              Introduction to Kanban – sharing workflow, collaboration.

•              Tech – Harnessing AI and digital dashboards to support your workflow

•              Daily Planner – simple steps to help your team win the day.

Expect colourful post-it notes, fresh thinking and positive hacks to support your communication, personal productivity and workflow.
